CIP-IRRI Load-Sharing Facility Multicluster Now Operational!

Anthony Collins and his CIP team, in collaboration with other CGIAR partners, have worked over the last year to install and link four high-performance computing clusters at CIP, IRRI, ICRISAT, and ILRI, which will exponentially increase the processing power in the CG and the Generation CP. The clusters at CIP and IRRI are now linked, with ICRISAT?s and ILRI?s soon to follow. Check back at the Generation CP website (www.generationcp.org) over the next month for information on how to take advantage of this powerful new resource!

 

Help the GCP Build iMAS ? Integrated Decision Support System for Marker-Assisted Plant Breeding

With support from the GCP, Subhash Chandra and his team at ICRISAT is constructing a software system that will allow researchers to seamlessly go from phenotyping to genotyping to the identification and application of markers in molecular breeding. But they need your help!

8 travel grants available for up to US $5,000 for non-GCP NARS scientists. Awards must be used to travel to a GCP (or related) workshop, or to visit a GCP member institute.
