This issue of GCP News exclusively brings you word of two exciting new positions at GCP.
The first is Breeding Services Manager, to run the Marker Services and Trait and Metabolite Services of the Integrated Breeding Platform (IBP). Applicants must have a PhD in plant breeding, plant genetics or similar area with at least 3 years of appropriate experience, or a Masters Degree with at least 8 years of suitable experience. The deadline for applications for this position is July 23, 2010.
GCP is also recruiting for the position of Data Manager/Training Specialist who will manage the GCP crop registry and provide training and technical support to project investigators and users of the Integrated Breeding Platform. We are seeking candidates with at least a Masters Degree in biometrics or informatics and a minimum of 5 years’ appropriate experience. The deadline for applications for this position is July 15, 2010.
