The Research Institute on Tropical Fruit Culture and the Fruits Corporate Group from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Cuba, together with the technical collaboration networks of the FAO, will be holding the Second International Symposium on Tropical and Subtropical Fruitculture, FRUTICULTURA 2007, in Havana City, Cuba from 17-21 September 2007. Participants will debate on topics of interest and exchange ideas among scientists, specialists, and technicians. Prestigious personalities with vast experience in world fruit-growing will be at hand with the aim of improving fruits production, conservation, processing, and marketing of tropical fruits worldwide.

Abstracts must be sent before 15 April 2007 and papers before 15 June 2007. The deadline for registration is 15 June 2007.
