GCP’s Project Development Guide
Welcome to the Generation Challenge Programme’s Project Development Guide (PDG), a joint project between GCP and the Syngenta Foundation for Sustainable Agriculture.
The PDG is sculpted around eight key project management themes. This tool is highly recommended by GCP management. Here’s why.
If you’re new to GCP, or you're an 'old hand' but feel the need to refresh your acquaintance with us on where we are today, we recommend that you visit Getting to know GCP. For a quick guided tour on the PDG, we invite you to visit the link below (What the PDG can do for you) to find out what the PDG can—and cannot—do for you and your project, as a researcher, science manager or reviewer of science projects.
The PDG is designed with two main users in mind:
• GCP researchers: Principal Investigators and Co-Principal Investigators of ongoing, or recently approved, GCP projects; and
• researchers considering submitting a proposal to GCP.
However, usage is not limited to the two main groups above, and at these links, you will find other potential users, as well as what the PDG can do for you.

Acknowledgements: GCP acknowledges with gratitude the contributions of the following people, without whom the PDG would not have been possible:
Last but definitely not least, our gratitude to all the ‘invisible’ contributors who provided technical backstopping and support to the group above. Were it not for their hard work, enthusiasm and good advice, the PDG would not have been completed or attained the desired quality we aimed for. |
